{A challenge and some cuties}-Belle Vernon Area Family Portraits

Two years ago, I started making a yearly album for my boys. I needed someplace to put all the snap shots and I am all for albums! I have a lot of big pictures of my boys around (and will have many more up on the walls when I move), but I needed something for the daily, just ordinary life shots that happen regularly. Every time I pass, I love flipping thru them and noticed as I would have suspected that I am in like three pictures from each years album. So that leads me to my personal challenge this month. I am calling it my december daily and I am attempting to get in a shot with one or both little guys each day this month. I am not expecting anything great…or even good….but I really am excited to do it as I think that it is so important in the chronical of their lives to have me in some pictures! I challenge you to do the same! Maybe not every day even this month, but make a point to step in front of the camera with your kiddos this month!

And now onto these two beautiful little people! Can you even stand how cute they are?! Thanks again S Family! Great seeing you again this year!

Gearing up for a busy couple of weeks coming up so I am trying to tackle some home projects before the craziness hits!! Looking forward to all the Christmas cuties coming to visit starting Thursday! Should be fun!

Tonight I wanted to feature one of this fall’s beautiful families!! Can’t wait to see the storyboard and float wraps that were ordered from this session! So rewarding to see the images actually become big art work for a clients home!

{Things to be thankful for…}-Belle Vernon Area Family Photographer

There are a ton of things that I am thankful for this Thanksgiving Day Eve, the most of which being my family! I cannot even begin to express how important I feel family photos are. I know that sometimes it is hard to get them done. I know from experience! It just seems exasperating to have to worry about more than just the kids at times! And we all can come up with a list of excuses from losing a little weight to getting the right hair cut. The truth is that it never seems to be the right time and sometimes we just have to live for now so we can remember these days years from now!!

How beautiful is this family?!? Just adorable kiddos! And this location….to die for! Thanks again B Family!!

August was FOR SURE my busiest month so far! Something like 25 sessions and 2 weddings!! CRAZY…but loads of fun esp because I got to catch up with some adorable little people like Ms. B! That face—one super adorable little face, right?? So cute!

Fall is such a gorgeous time for photographs! I love rich color to begin with and add in some vibrant leaves and I am in heaven! Such sweet little girls these two were! My very favorite type of image is still a simple and classic portrait with loads of depth of field! Love that watercolor background!
