Another week in our life!

I am happy to report that no, I didn’t bail on the 365 project!  Even though I slipped a week on the blog, I am still at it! Here are last weeks pictures as well as this weeks thru yesterday! 

I bet in the end, looking back, I have a ton of bathtub pictures.  I love them, they are trapped there, and are distracted so its a win win! :-)

Wahoo!  Another week!  I cannot wait for some warmer weather, and getting outside more!  Getting a bit of cabin fever….but the end is near!

This week, I tried a self portrait for the first time ever.  I got some shots that were more traditional headshots but this one stood out a little to me so it became my picture of the day.

Looking in his “pirate manual” —aka…my camera manual for instructions on what to do next….in turn, it must have replied the “pirate dance” because the next thing we was doing were flips across the room….

Week 3 of my project 365 is complete!!  Nearly a month complete!  Wahoo!

Weston’s new favorite word is the word car.  He can see the cars from his bedroom window so often you will find him there. 

Playing peek over the tub…….hope he doesn’t figure out too soon that I hover there with a camera….I just love his toothy smile!

Another week in my babies lives……

Really, who says jump-a-leens- (aka-trampoline) are for jumping??  They make great forts! And yes, in case you are wondering, your  eyes aren’t playing tricks on you….he has super static hair!!

I love this eyes and lips!  No idea where those eyes came from, but I am not complaining! 

Week #2 is under my belt, and I am really lovin this!  The kids….maybe not so much…but I know that I am going to really enjoy looking back on these when they are big!

My first experience with the self timer and trying to capture a shot with both my kids.  So yeah…..even though this is my “no pressure” project, this was TOUGH!  This shot was taken a split second after I darted across the room for Weston!

I am a sucker of anything I can get of them together!  They are best buds!

Love that he is completely lost in thought, watching the trucks outside, that he didn’t even notice me there.  Gotta love those pouty lips!

Ironic enough, this very day is the day that he became a crib jumper!!!

Sometimes the only place I can get Cade to agree to a picture is when he is in the tub. Thats fine by me though–I love tub pictures!

January 13th, and already I get the “enough already” look from him!

I am a sucker for itty baby parts.  They grow up way too fast to remember how little these hands were once!

And so it begins!  I elected to do a 365 project with my kiddos this year!  I have never tried this before because I always figured that I wouldn’t stick with it, but this year, I am up for the challenge.  I am calling this a no-pressure project…shooting whatever strikes me for the day.  Some days it may be hanging out of the couch, some days capturing them camping out in their forts, others maybe playing outside.  But I am vowing to take more snapshots of my babies and I think that this is a great way to begin!
