I make these beautifully crafted albums for clients and don’t have any of my own of my own babies so I am determined to change that!  I have decided to attempt to make an ongoing album for the year, and make it full of little series to snap shot different things that we do!! Kinda like a year in the life of, and have it full of mini imprompt sessions of the boys–each series being a spread in the album.  Here’s to hoping that it turns out the way I am hoping!! 

 

So this is my first series…..L.O.V.E. that  Cade will actually let me photograph him a little now!

One mission I had last week was to get a shot of my boys together.  I am really not one to care if they are both looking and smiling or anything but I wanted one together where the other wasn’t in a headlock!  :-)   Moms can appreciate that I think!  In Weston’s 1.5 years, I don’t have a single nice picture of them together!  Needless to say, I was over the moon when I got this!  Weston was laughing because Cade was screaming cheese at the top of his lungs.  They are best buds!  I am getting this big and getting one of my new pretty frames for it so when that arrives, I will take some shots of it and post!

Yeah for Weston! One of my favorite things about him: his cringle nose!  When he is sad, mad, happy, laughing….he gives you the cringle nose!  Love that!

The face of someone that is actually getting to the point where he will sit for a picture now and again!  I know it probably wouldn’t last long but I am lovin’ it while it is here!

Yesterday, the cement was poured in the garage of the house that we are building.  We wanted to stick the kids hands in the cement.  Cade did terrific…..West not so much but I kinda expected that!  I still love the prints we got, despite the fact that West’s aren’t perfect!

Is it really terrible that one of the reasons I am most excited to move into the house is all the great lighting??  My little fix it man on his ladder helping Daddy out.

This week, I tried a self portrait for the first time ever.  I got some shots that were more traditional headshots but this one stood out a little to me so it became my picture of the day.

Looking in his “pirate manual” —aka…my camera manual for instructions on what to do next….in turn, it must have replied the “pirate dance” because the next thing we was doing were flips across the room….

Really, who says jump-a-leens- (aka-trampoline) are for jumping??  They make great forts! And yes, in case you are wondering, your  eyes aren’t playing tricks on you….he has super static hair!!
