I got the pleasure this weekend of meeting up with a beautiful family and their adorable little boy! He didn’t crack too many smiles but have you seen a cuter serious face than this??? The session took place at Phipps in Pittsburgh. I left wandering to myself why on earth I have never been there before??!? What a gorgeous outdoor area they have!! I will be going back….and not too far in the future either!!
Session like this remind me what I love about lifestyle photography. I love capturing a relationship, a feeling, an emotion, and I adore shots where everyone just kinda falls into their place–whether it be looking at the camera or not! Sometimes I feel that the best family images are totally unrehearsed and happen when you just capture a family being a family!
Some beautiful wind action doesn’t hurt either!
