So who isn’t on the ever long quest to get in shape?? Whether it be for your wedding day, to loose the baby fat, or just a busy mom looking for some stress relief (ME!! LOL!)), we all on on the quest to fit a program that works for us!! The Sunday Spotlight tonight belongs to an awesome instructor here in the Mon Valley!!
1.) Tell us a little about yourself (where are you from, etc)
My name is Rae Lynn Guseman and I’m from Fayette City. My husband and I are proud parents to our 6 Month baby girl. We have been married for 7 years. We also have an 8 year old Shih Tzu named Mi-La Rae.
2.) What got you interested in your business/hobby?
I was a cheerleader for 15 years, so dance was always a part of me growing up. I also was a competitive Ice Dancer for 11 years. I’ve found that ZUMBA has been a great way to continue my love for dance after those seasons in my life were over.
3.) How long have you been doing it?
I will have been teaching ZUMBA 2 years in November.
4.) Do you feel that you business or hobby has something unique to offer?
There are many ZUMBA classes being offered in the Pittsburgh area and even here in the Mon Valley. The instructors all offer something a little different in both style and music selection. ZUMBA is a family and each class you attend will be different… that’s the beauty of ZUMBA! The Christian Center is a relaxed atmosphere which is perfect for all levels of fitness. I personally tend to feed off of everyones energy and that radiates throughout each one of my classes to make it less of a workout and more of a party! I truly love everything about teaching ZUMBA.. meeting new people, making friends with students and turning someone’s dismal day into a cheerful night. I can assure you that if you open your heart and mind… and start moving to the beat you will leave my class: happy, sweaty!, laughing, feeling accomplished, a little thinner, a LOT healthier, less stressed… and more yourself. I feel blessed to have the opportunity to do what I love and spread ZUMBA in our Mon Valley community! In short, ZUMBA is FUN, it’s different, it’s easy and it’s EFFECTIVE!

I teach at The Christian Center Church located at 130 Charity Lane Belle Vernon , PA 15012.

Zumba Gold-Tuesdays: 6:00-6:45. (Zumba Gold is just a lower impact class that is only 45 mins long)
